Teen Gothic

Hello! I’m writing a book currently and I tend to get inspiration or new ideas by listening to music. I am looking for something dark but romantic. Examples like Star-crossed or tragedy or similar topics. Thank you!! I don’t mind how old the song is as long I can imagine the story play out.

i love the sound of a lot of goth music but i struggle to find songs with lyrics that really speak to me. i’m thinking something along the lines of, say… megalomania by muse, do you doubt me traitor by lingua ignota, climbing up the walls by radiohead… that kind of vibe. i like really gritty, bone-chilling music as well— stuff that doesn’t hold back and kind of just shows someone… spiraling into despair and anger, i guess? if you know anything like that lmk for sure 🙂

I’m fairly new to goth music in general and really enjoy the deep, sultry, sexy side this genera has. Anyone have any recommendations? If not than any artists similar to Elita, Boy Harsher, Glads Spell, or even She Wants Revenge?

Something similar to Twin Tribes, but not mostly based on romantic love

What the title says. This album is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard. Other goth music I like is Only Theatre of Pain album by CD, Adrenochrome by Sisters of mercy, horror vacui, twin tribes, paralyzed age. Thank you!
